Job summary

MetroHealth seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). You will provide direct patient care in a busy CCU, perform bedside procedures, and collaborate with care teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Required Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS, and a BSN preferred. The unit handles congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA and sepsis with a 24-bed capacity and rotating schedules. Eligible for sign-on bonuses and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification (or within 90 days of hire).
• Current ACLS certification (or within 6 months of hire).
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West).
• Coordinate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, and providers.
• Utilize EKG interpretation, central line care and respiratory support in patient management.
