Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in Ohio. You will provide high-level nursing care in a 24-bed unit with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, handling conditions such as CHF, COPD, DKA and sepsis.

Eligible RNs may receive a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and rotate weekends/holidays on a 7a-7p or 7p-7a schedule. Qualified candidates will have an Ohio RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• ACLS and BLS certifications desired or to be obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, nurse interns, providers, PT and OT.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and efficient time management in a high-acuity environment.
