Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. Bi-Weekly Hours: 72.00 (Full Time). Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays.

Join our CCSD team caring for CHF, COPD, DKA and sepsis, in a 24-bed unit with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and advanced telemetry systems. Required qualifications include an RN license in Ohio, BLS and ACLS (ACLS within 6 months). BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA BLS for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs, manage central lines, and assist with bedside procedures.
• Monitor patients with telemetry, perform time-critical interventions, and collaborate with the care team.
