Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Critical Care Step Down RN for 7 West. You will provide high-level patient care in a 24-bed CCSD with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, perform procedures, and collaborate with care teams.

Eligible candidates include graduates from accredited nursing programs with Ohio RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certifications, and a BSN preferred. Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new graduates are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification current or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) with a 5:1 patient ratio.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and critical care tasks.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT and OT to coordinate care.
• Interpret ECGs, manage central lines, and support respiratory therapies.
