Job summary

MetroHealth is hiring Registered Nurses for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. This full-time on-site RN position features a rotating 7a-7p / 7p-7a schedule with weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Eligible RNs may receive a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualifying experience, or $5,000 for new graduates. Ohio licensure, BLS, and ACLS are required, BSN preferred. Join a unit with high-tech support and a 24-bed capacity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification current or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, and OT.
• Perform bedside procedures and manage advanced airway support (BiPAP/ventilators).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
