Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit, 7 West. You will provide advanced nursing care in a high-acuity setting, interpret EKGs, manage central lines and ventilator support, and assist with bedside procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider certification or obtain within 90 days.
• Current ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in Critical Care Step Down Unit with a 5:1 patient ratio.
• Interpret EKGs and manage central lines and ventilator support.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) as needed.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers and therapists.
