Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. You will provide bedside nursing in a high‑acuity setting with a 5:1 nurse‑to‑patient ratio, supporting EKG interpretation, central line care, and ventilator/oxygen therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with active RN licensure in Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BSN is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) with a 5:1 nurse‑to‑patient ratio.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers and therapy teams to deliver patient care.
• Interpret EKGs, manage lines, and support ventilator/oxygen needs as required.
