Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Nursing role in our Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, Cleveland. You will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity environment with a 24-bed unit, utilizing EKG interpretation, central line care, and ventilator support as part of daily responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have Ohio RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and a willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends. We offer tuition reimbursement, certification incentives, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Flexibility with rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKG interpretation and monitoring.
• Central line care and access management.
• Manage Rescue Bi-PAP, high flow oxygen, and vents as needed.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Exhibit critical thinking, delegation, and efficient time management.
