Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West in Ohio. The role involves dynamic patient care in a 24-bed unit with rotating shifts and weekend/holiday rotation.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, managing complex cardiac and respiratory patients and using advanced telemetry. Requirements include Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and a BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license valid in Ohio.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers, active or within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification, or within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs.
• Perform central line care.
• Manage respiratory support (BiPAP, high-flow O2, Trach/Vents).
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
