Job summary

Air Methods CBS is seeking a flight-critical registered nurse for high-level patient care during aerial transport in Florence, AZ. The role focuses on assessment, triage, and treatment under Medical Director guidelines while prioritizing safety and rapid patient transport.

The position requires a valid RN license and 3+ years of critical care experience. Prior flight experience is a plus; ongoing education and clinical rotations are supported by the employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience.
• RN license in practice states; EMS/MICN certification as required.
• Flight experience is not required but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care during transport and triage.
• Conduct pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings; complete required documentation.
• Maintain equipment readiness and onboard supplies; report failures and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure safety standards and participate in safety briefings for crew and patients.
• Support education of new staff and participate in ongoing training and meetings.
