Air Methods Clinical in Phoenix seeks an experienced registered nurse to join our critical care flight team. You’ll deliver high-level care during helicopter transport, assess and triage patients, and collaborate with CBS Medical Director(s) to uphold safety and quality standards.

You’ll bring 3+ years of critical care or emergency nursing experience, preferably pre‑hospital, and maintain certifications while supporting ongoing education and on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years or as required by state/local EMS regulations.
• Pre-hospital experience preferred.
• Flight experience is not required but is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Maintain competency and attend continuing education programs.
• Report medical equipment failures and ensure repairs as directed.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and assist pilot as needed.
• Attend pre‑mission briefings and mission debriefings and complete necessary documentation.
