Job summary

Air Methods Corporation seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Flight Crew in Las Cruces, NM. You’ll deliver high-quality critical care during air transport, assess and treat patients, and participate in mission briefings with safety as the priority.

Requirements include nursing licensure, 3+ years of critical care experience, and willingness to travel; flight experience is a plus. The role offers a competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience.
  • Pre-hospital experience preferred; flight experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality critical care from initial contact to handoff at receiving facility.
  • Maintain thorough patient care documentation and ongoing competency.
  • Operate and report on medical equipment; assist with liftoff checklists and safety protocols.
  • Act as a flight resource for neonatal/pediatric transports when needed.
  • Participate in pre/post mission briefings and required training.
