Job summary

Air Methods in Arizona seeks an experienced registered nurse to join the critical care flight team. You will deliver lifesaving care during air transport and coordinate care from the scene to the receiving facility.

Responsibilities include high-quality patient assessment, meticulous documentation, and adherence to safety protocols. Candidates should have 3+ years in critical care and be prepared for a demanding, fast-paced schedule with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years or as required by state/local EMS regulations.
• Pre-hospital experience preferred.
• Flight experience is not required but is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care during patient transport.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences and keep licensure and certifications up to date.
• Attend pre-mission liftoff checklists and assist flight crew as needed.
• Comply with safety standards and conduct aircraft safety briefings as required.
