Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a registered nurse with critical care expertise to deliver lifesaving care during aerial transport. You will assess, treat, document, and collaborate with CBS Medical Directors to ensure safe patient transfer.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, active RN license, and 3+ years in critical care. The role involves travel about 5% and a flexible, on-call schedule; flight experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and active RN license required.
• 3+ years critical care/emergency nursing experience.
• Pre-hospital experience preferred; flight experience is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care during transport per CBS standards.
• Maintain documentation and equipment readiness onboard aircraft.
• Participate in pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and ongoing training.
