Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to lead daily crews, coordinate field work, and ensure safety and efficiency on job sites. You will mentor staff, train crew members, and manage customer relations while enforcing company safety standards and procedures.

The role requires CDL, ability to travel for storm work, and strong leadership and organizational skills to plan, schedule, and track work orders. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Good organization and ability to multi-task.
• Able to adjust to field requirements with minimal supervision.
• Must have no fear of heights.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and assign daily crew work.
• Conduct field training and retraining for crew.
• Enforce safe work practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Discuss access issues with property owners and refer to supervisor.
• Obtain permissions to perform required work.
• Promote good customer relations through completed work.
• Maintain records, timesheets, and reports.
• Control crew costs and use of resources.
• Furnish reports of orders completed to General Foreperson.
• Coordinate with police and fire for street/driveway blocks.
• Set up barriers and safety measures to protect crew and public.
• Inspect and arrange repairs for tools and equipment.
• Maintain truck and worksite housekeeping.
• Oversee DOT maintenance and inspections on vehicles.
• Keep informed about equipment and company policies.
