Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to drive daily field operations. You will coordinate crew work, train personnel, enforce safety protocols, and maintain strong customer relations on active job sites. This role requires CDL driving and the ability to travel for storm work.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Able to adjust to field requirements and act independently.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Willingness to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruptions, and scope with property owners; refers complex cases to supervisor.
• Obtains permissions to perform work; maintains customer relations.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and crew reports; controls crew costs.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed, crew time, and incidents to supervisors.
• Inspects and coordinates repairs for tools, trucks, and equipment.
