Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, coordinate tasks, and enforce safety standards on job sites. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on training of crew members across field assignments.

Responsibilities include planning daily work, ensuring safety training, maintaining records, and coordinating with property owners. CDL is required, and travel for storm work may be involved.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and take independent action.
• Licensed driver with ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders are received from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining of crew on new job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Communicates with property owners about access, outages, and work scope; refers issues to supervisor.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance and work completed.
• Inspects tools and equipment; coordinates repairs and maintenance as needed.
