Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate with management on safety protocols, and mentor crew members in field training. The role requires a CDL and willingness to travel for storm work, with emphasis on safe, efficient job completion.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and multitasking capacity.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and act independently without close supervision.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Ensures safety practices per OSHA and company policies and conducts safety training.
• Advances customer relations by coordinating access and addressing issues.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports on crew performance.
• Investigates incidents and may settle minor damage claims.
