Job summary

IHOP in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Crew Chief to lead a high-performing team on busy shifts. You will help prepare staff, assign duties, promote teamwork, and ensure excellent customer experiences through clear communication and training.

You will supervise performance, monitor time cards, enforce SOPs, and help with cash handling and deposits, while promoting safety and quality in every service.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Relevant experience is preferred but not required!

Responsibilities

• Assisting in preparation and readiness of personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet business needs.
• Assigning employee duties and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
• Informing staff about new menu items, specials, and promos.
• Supervising performance and behavior and ensuring policy adherence.
• Monitoring time cards and adjusting schedules to minimize overtime.
• Enforcing portion control and maintaining security and delivery checks.
• Handling cash receipts, reconciling funds, and making daily deposits.
