Job summary

IHOP is seeking a full-time Crew Chief to lead a high-performing team. You will assist in preparing staff and resources, assign duties, and promote teamwork to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will train new hires, supervise performance, manage time cards and schedules, enforce SOPs, check deliveries, and handle cash deposits to support smooth operations. Health insurance is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Relevant experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in preparation and readiness of personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet the needs of the business.
• Helping assign employee duties, encourage teamwork, and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Keep staff informed about new menu items, specials, and promotional materials to ensure understanding of food preparation and service.
• Supervise employee performance and behavior, ensuring adherence to policies and high service standards.
• Monitor time cards and adjust schedules to meet restaurant needs and minimize overtime.
• Enforce portion control, maintain security protocols, and check deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Handle cash receipts, reconcile funds, and make daily deposits.
