Job summary

IHOP is seeking a full-time Crew Chief to lead and develop a high-performing restaurant team. You will organize personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet daily needs, assign duties, and promote teamwork for excellent customer experiences.

You will train new hires, monitor performance, adjust schedules, and ensure compliance with SOPs. Confidence in cash handling and daily deposits supports smooth operations and strong service standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure during busy periods.
• Leadership experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and readying personnel, equipment and supplies for business needs.
• Assign duties, encourage teamwork and promote a collaborative work environment.
• Inform staff about new menu items, specials and promotional materials.
• Conduct orientation and training for new employees and refreshers for current staff.
• Supervise performance, monitor time cards, adjust schedules to minimize overtime.
• Enforce standard portion controls and maintain security during deliveries.
• Handle cash receipts, reconcile funds and make daily deposits.
