Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Rental Credit Specialist to analyze credit worthiness for Rental, National Rental and FMG customers. You will provide recommendations to support sales growth while mitigating risk across product lines.

Candidate will review reports, financial statements and TLSA/nfusion data, determining appropriate credit lines and action plans, and communicating with cross-functional teams to manage high-risk accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
• Two (2) years or more experience in commercial credit.
• Two (2) years or more experience in financial statement analysis preferred.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and assess credit risks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit requests for new customers and increased lines for existing customers.
• Review credit reports, company history and financial statements to determine risk.
• Provide credit and business recommendations to support sales growth while mitigating risk.
• Communicate risk and actions to loss prevention, collections, sales and operations.
• Verify critical documentation and assist with daily credit activities.
