Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Rental Credit Specialist to analyze creditworthiness for Ryder's Rental, National Rental and FMG customers and provide value-added analysis to support sales while mitigating risk.

You will collaborate with sales, lease analysts, and operations to review credit requests, assess reports and financial statements, determine credit lines and action plans, and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
Two (2) years or more experience in commercial credit
Two (2) years or more experience in financial statement analysis preferred
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and assess credit risks
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Work with Rental, National Rental, and FMG sales group on credit requests for new customers.
Assist Lease analyst in initial review of lease assignments and credit review for assignee/assignor.
Review credit reports, Ryder history, and financial statements.
Determine credit line and action plan to reduce rentals if needed.
Communicate with stop loss, collections, sales and operations on high-risk accounts.
Verify documentation such as ACH amendments, deposits, ILOCs, guarantees.
