Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Rental Credit Specialist to analyze credit worthiness across Rental, National Rental and FMG segments. You will review financial data, prepare risk assessments and recommend credit lines while supporting sales growth.

You will collaborate with sales, collections and operations to manage high-risk accounts and ensure timely documentation. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in commercial credit are preferred, with strong data analysis and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or equivalent experience.
• Two years of commercial credit experience.
• Experience with financial statement analysis preferred.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

Responsibilities

• Works with sales on credit requests for new customers and increased credit lines.
• Reviews credit reports and company history to assess risk.
• Communicates credit decisions to stop loss, collections, and sales teams.
• Verifies critical documentation from customers (ACH, ILOCs, guarantees).
• Assist daily with Credit Hold Mailbox and related tasks.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks within the department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
