Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Rental Credit Specialist to analyze creditworthiness and risk for Rental, National Rental and FMG customers. You will provide value-driven credit recommendations to support sales growth while mitigating risk.

The role involves reviewing credit requests, financial statements and reports, determining appropriate credit lines, and coordinating with loss, collections and sales teams. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
• Two (2) years or more experience in commercial credit.
• Two (2) years or more experience in financial statement analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit requests for new customers and increased lines.
• Review lease assignments and preliminary credit, obtain Ryder docs.
• Review credit reports, Ryder history, and financial statements.
• Determine credit exposure and actions to reduce risk or grow sales.
• Communicate with loss, collections, sales, and operations on high-risk accounts.
