Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Rental Credit Specialist to assess credit worthiness for Ryder's Rental, National Rental and FMG customers.

You will analyze financial data, review reports, and determine appropriate credit lines while coordinating with sales, collections and operations to minimize risk and support revenue growth. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in commercial credit and financial statement analysis, with strong Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting or 3 years equivalent business work experience.
Two (2) years or more experience in commercial credit.
Two (2) years or more experience in financial statement analysis preferred.
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data; complete spreads; assess credit risks.

Responsibilities

Works with Rental, National Rental, and FMG sales group on credit requests for new customers and increased credit lines.
Assist Lease analyst in initial review of lease assignments and preliminary credit review and Ryder documentation.
Reviews credit reports, Ryder history, and financial statements.
Determines exposure and action plan to reduce rentals if needed and communicates with loss, collections, sales, and ops.
Verifies critical documentation and security from customers (ACH, cash deposits, ILOCs, guarantees).
Assists with Credit Hold Mailbox reviews and other department tasks.
