Job summary

H-E-B Harlingen Bakery is seeking a Cake Decorator to expertly decorate cakes using visual training aids and maintain product quality. You will handle cake orders, assist customers with selections, and ensure items are prepared, labeled, and displayed correctly each day.

Responsibilities include following VTAs for decoration, maintaining sanitation, and adhering to food safety standards while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read and write clearly and plan daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service in person and by phone.
• Decorate cakes per VTAs and production list to ensure quality and timely displays.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise fresh bakery items daily.
• Maintain sanitation and follow food safety procedures.
