Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Cake Decorator to apply decorating techniques and maintain product quality per guidelines in the bakery department. You will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh cakes daily while upholding all safety standards.

Responsibilities include taking cake orders by phone or in person, assisting customers with selections, applying VTAs, and ensuring proper display and freshness on the showroom floor.

Qualifications

• Age 18+.
• 1+ years of experience.
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Completion of Company Orientation.
• Safety training completed.
• eCommerce Online Ordering training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Take cake orders by phone or in person with accuracy.
• Answer questions and assist with product selections.
• Apply decorating techniques per VTAs to produce quality cakes.
• Ensure quality and proper display on the showroom floor.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the bakery area.
