Job summary

NC State University Extension Guilford County seeks an Extension County Operations Support Specialist to provide essential administrative support for the county office. You will greet visitors, handle inquiries, manage communications, and assist with events and programs led by Extension staff and volunteers.

As a frontline member of the team, you will help maintain records, coordinate room usage, and prepare materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, plus two years of office assistance or secretarial experience.
• Computer skills are necessary; experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Preferred bilingual in Spanish.
• Experience working with the public is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and respond to general inquiries to connect the public with Extension resources.
• Maintain records of community partners and distribute newsletters and event notifications.
• Assist with event registration and program trainings.
• Prepare and distribute materials for programs and events.
• Maintain signage and communications throughout the building.
