Job summary

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction seeks a Records Management professional at the Toledo facility to review inmate records for compliance with sex offender registration and DNA testing requirements.

You will operate LEADS, Offender Watch, and confidential terminals; research warrants/detainers and prepare necessary courtroom documentation. OnBase is used to maintain records and DOTS Portal updates are part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of records management to review inmate records for compliance with sex offender registration laws and DNA testing requirements.
• Operates law enforcement computer systems (LEADS, Offender Watch) and confidential terminals.
• Research LEADS for pending warrants and detainers.
• Serves as liaison between institution staff and law enforcement for court transports.

Responsibilities

• Review inmate records for regulatory compliance and accuracy.
• Operate LEADS and other law enforcement systems to access confidential information.
• Research warrants/detainers in LEADS; notify inmates of detainers.
• Prepare documentation for speedy trials under TAD and Ohio law.
• Maintain inmate records using OnBase; update DOTS Portal with statuses.
