Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal education in arithmetic that includes basic calculations and English vocabulary.
• 1 course or 3 mos exp in records management (e.g., record retention, document management, confidentiality).
• Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

• Requires considerable knowledge in records management to manage the system for records retention and disposal.
• Prepare files and documents for scanning and pull and scan inmate master records in response to public inquiries and requests from staff.
• Responsible for indexing documents stored on document imaging software (OnBase).
• Prepares correspondence and records in response to public records requests.
• Operate microfilm equipment and scanning equipment.
• Inspect final product for quality and maintain equipment.
