The Summit corrections kitchen in Woodstown, NJ is seeking an experienced cook supervisor to coordinate and supervise the work of staff in a fast-paced environment, ensuring meals meet high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch-focused kitchen.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience supervising a team and providing guidance to staff.
• Food Handlers certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train staff in food service and sanitation to ensure on-time meals.
• Monitor portion, appearance and temperature to maintain quality.
