Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor to join its corrections team in Crown Point, IN. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient meal service, quality, and compliance with standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has prior culinary experience in high-volume settings, strong knowledge of cooking methods, and proven team supervision skills. Benefits include medical, vision, and additional employee programs.

Qualifications

• At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality/high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Food Handlers certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meals begin on time and high quality standards are met.
