Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for the Corrections team in Woodstown, NJ. The role coordinates and supervises staff to ensure efficient, high‑quality meal service in a fast-paced facility.

The ideal candidate has strong culinary skills, team leadership experience, and a focus on sanitation and accuracy. Onsite, full‑time work with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• At least one year of prior culinary experience in a high‑volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
• Experience supervising a team and providing effective staff guidance.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring portions and temperatures are correct.
