Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for our correctional kitchen in Fort Collins, CO. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient, high-quality meal service in a fast-paced environment.

You will instruct and train employees in food service and sanitation, monitor portion control and temperatures, and uphold strict standards of cleanliness and safety. Knowledge of scratch cooking and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of prior culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Food Handlers certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
