Job summary

Summit, part of Elior North America, is seeking a cook supervisor to oversee and train staff in a corrections kitchen in Darien, GA. You will ensure timely meal service, proper portions, and high-quality presentation in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires supervising a team, a focus on scratch cooking, and strong culinary knowledge. Benefited with medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO options for full-time onsite staff.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch-focused kitchen.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
