Job summary

Elior North America’s Summit brand is seeking a Cook Supervisor in Huntsville, TX to oversee food preparation and sanitation in a fast-paced correctional kitchen. The role focuses on coordinating staff, maintaining quality, and ensuring meals meet established standards.

You will train and supervise cooks, ensure on-time meal service, and uphold safety and hygiene protocols. A minimum of one year in high-volume cooking and proven supervisory experience is preferred; certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume setting with scratch cooking.
• Solid knowledge of culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team in a kitchen.
• Food Handlers certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train staff in food service and sanitation, ensure timely meal services and high-quality portions, appearance, and temperature.
