Summit in Lexington, NE is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for the correctional facility kitchen team. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient service and adherence to high standards in a fast-paced environment.

We value prior high-volume, scratch cooking experience, leadership abilities, attention to detail, and customer-focused service. This onsite role offers growth within Elior North America’s Summit division.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch cooking environment.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience supervising a team and coordinating staff.
• Customer service oriented with product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
