Affirm is building a de novo bank and seeks a seasoned operations leader to own the Finxact core and digital banking experience platforms. You will shape deposit and lending operations strategy, partner with servicing teams, and implement resilient, compliant processes for transparent financial products.

You will lead operational launch readiness, oversee daily deposits and lending operations, and drive a strong control environment with governance and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in banking operations, digital banking, financial technology, or core-platform delivery.
• Experience in leading teams and operating in a regulated financial institution.
• Experience with core banking platforms or modern cloud-native cores is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own the Finxact core system configuration, deployment, and ongoing administration.
• Lead operational delivery of digital account-opening and online/mobile banking platforms.
• Oversee end-to-end launch readiness, testing, and cutover activities.
• Direct daily deposit operations, including reconciliations, funding, and regulatory reporting support.
• Oversee lending operations, underwriting validation, funding approvals, and journal-entry bookings.
• Manage loan purchase/sale operations, settlements, and audits.
• Build and maintain the bank's control environment with documented procedures and governance.
• Manage vendors, SLAs, incidents, and continuity capabilities.
• Lead a high-performing Bank Operations team with clear decision rights and metrics.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Finance, Compliance, Risk, and others to design scalable workflows.
