Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank and is seeking a senior leader to own Finxact core and digital banking platforms. You will guide deposit and lending operations strategy, partner with servicing teams, and establish scalable, well-controlled processes for transparent financial products.

You will design and implement core systems, oversee digital account opening, testing, releases, and continuous platform improvements, while driving effective controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in banking ops or digital banking leadership.
• (line skip)
• Experience with core banking platforms and modern cloud-native cores preferred.
• Knowledge of deposit, lending operations and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation and administration of Finxact as core system of record.
• Lead digital account-opening and online/mobile banking experiences.
• Lead operational launch readiness and go/no-go processes.
• Manage daily deposit operations, accounting and reconciliations across platforms.
• Oversee lending operations including underwriting, funding and boarding.
• Ensure controls, risk, and audit readiness with governance.
• Coordinate vendor management and continuity planning.
• Develop and coach a high-performing Bank Operations team.
