Job summary

Affirm is building a de novo bank and this role will own the Finxact core and digital banking experiences, lead deposit and lending operations strategy, and partner with servicing teams to build resilient, well-controlled processes that deliver transparent, reliable financial products.

You will manage end-to-end operations, implement robust controls, oversee vendor relationships, and guide a high-performing team while collaborating with product, engineering, risk, and compliance to scale secure

Qualifications

• 8+ years in banking operations or fintech.
• Experience with core banking platforms (Finxact preferred).
• Experience launching a de novo bank or digital banking program.
• Strong controls, risk & regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage vendors and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Own Finxact core configuration and operations.
• Lead digital account-opening and online/mobile banking ops.
• Plan and execute operational launch readiness.
• Manage daily deposit operations and reconciliations.
• Oversee lending ops: underwriting validation and funding.
• Oversee loan purchase/sale and compliance.
• Maintain control environment and governance.
• Manage vendor oversight and continuity plans.
• Build and coach a high-performing ops team.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, risk, and compliance.
