Chesterton Manor is seeking a dependable and motivated Evening Cook to join our skilled nursing facility team. This role blends cook and dietary aide duties during the evening shift to deliver high-quality meals and maintain a safe dietary environment for residents. We offer career development opportunities toward ServSafe certification and a CDM track, with training toward CNA.

A high school diploma is required, 18+, and dining services experience preferred. Culinary training optional.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: One year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or healthcare setting.
• Culinary school training preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform both cook and dietary aide functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus and portion control guidelines.
• Plan food production to meet established meal service schedules.

Chesterton Manor is seeking a dependable and motivated Evening Cook to join our skilled nursing facility team. This role requires flexibility and the ability to perform both cook and dietary aide responsibilities during the assigned shift to ensure high-quality meal service and a clean, safe dietary environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Cook Duties
