Chesterton Manor is seeking a Dietary Aide for our skilled nursing facility in Chesterton, IN.
The Dietary Aide will work alongside other medical professionals to provide assistance in all food service functions as directed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.
Full-Time
Assist in serving meals in a timely manner
Clean worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, and other kitchen areas
Assist cooks with meal preparation
Serve food trays from carts and dining rooms and transport dishes to the dishwashing area
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dietary department
Follow all food safety and dietary procedures
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous dietary or food service experience preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
