Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Control Sales Leader in Iowa to manage area sales and drive long-term customer relationships across engineer, contractor, and owner accounts. You will lead sales initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction while coordinating with Account Managers and leveraging Trane systems programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent and a minimum of five years in sales leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of related experience in a sales leadership role, experience in sales leadership preferred.
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, valid and in state for 12 months with no major violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for customer and area sales management, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction measurement, price management, marketing, account penetration, market penetration, customer retention, hiring and onboarding of new sales associates, and training.
• Setting quotas, accurate sales forecasting, and consistent use of Trane sales tools and systems.
• Achieving annual objectives regarding profit, volume, margins, business mix, and share.
• Promoting all Trane Systems linkage programs, including In-Warranty-Service Agreements and Building Automation to Service where appropriate.
• Assembling high-performance teams and coordinating with Account Managers across different business development needs.
