Job summary

Trane Technologies in Iowa is hiring a Control Sales Leader to oversee area sales management and drive profitability across contracting and services. You will develop long-term relationships with engineers, contractors, and owners while ensuring customer satisfaction and growth.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent, and at least five years in a sales leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent field.
• Minimum five years of related experience in a sales leadership role (applicable sales role preferred).
• DL Number - Driver License: valid and in-state for 12+ months with a clean record (no major violations).

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for customer and area sales management, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction measurement, price management, marketing, maximizing account penetration, market penetration, customer retention.
• Hire and onboard new sales associates, train, set quotas, and ensure accurate sales forecasting with Trane sales tools and systems.
• Achieve annual objectives regarding profit, volume, margins, and market share.
• Promote Linkage Programs such as In-Warranty-Service Agreements and Building Automation to Service when appropriate.
• Assemble high-performance teams and coordinate with Account Managers with varying requirements and product portfolios.
• Monitor and coach Account Managers’ effectiveness and efficiency in project attainment and profitability.
• Investigate customer concerns and communicate corrective actions to maintain satisfaction.
