Job summary

Trane Supply seeks a Controls Account Manager to drive long-term relationships with engineers, contractors, and building owners, focusing on energy-efficient building automation solutions.

You will develop account plans, provide technical and financial guidance on HVAC controls, and coordinate teams to win projects. A 4+ year background or BS is preferred, with 2+ years in solution sales and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of demonstrated experience or a Bachelor of Science degree.
• 2+ years of solution sales experience.
• Driver License valid and in state with no major traffic violations in the prior 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term customer relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners.
• Provide HVAC controls solutions including financial and performance-based considerations.
• Assemble and coordinate acquisition teams for customers and projects as needed.
• Convert leads into opportunities and communicate next steps in the process.
• Develop an account-specific business plan to foster a profitable partnership.
