Job summary
Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer to troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems at its southwest Atlanta metro manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes improving safety, efficiency, and uptime in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment.
The candidate will collaborate across departments, design control modifications, lead projects, and produce FAT and engineering documentation while ensuring regulatory safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.
- Experience in Allen-Bradley PLC environment and manufacturing settings.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems on production floor.
- Lead projects coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Prepare technical reports and FAT/engineering documentation.
- Ensure safety compliance per OHSA and internal standards.
- Support/lead projects from initiation to completion to improve uptime.
- Maintain relationships with related departments to support operations.
