Job summary
RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Controls Engineer to join its manufacturing facility in the Atlanta area. You will troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment and lead or support projects from initiation to completion.
The role focuses on improving safety, efficiency, and uptime; you will work with maintenance, engineering, and production teams and ensure compliance with safety standards. Relocation assistance may be available.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree or equivalent combination.
- Preferred 5 years as a controls engineer; minimum 2 years considered.
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting on production equipment.
- Familiar with PLC/HMI programming and wiring standards.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and program equipment in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment.
- Lead or support control system design, FATs, and commissioning.
- Coordinate projects with internal teams and external vendors.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain control-system documentation.
- Ensure safety compliance per OHSA and internal EHS standards.
- Enhance equipment safety, efficiency, and uptime.
