Job summary
The Recruiting Hive seeks a skilled Controls Engineer to join our southwest Atlanta metro manufacturing facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integrating automation systems in a high-output environment.
Expect an attractive salary package with relocation support and 401(k) style matching, plus bonus potential. You will work across Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production to drive safety, efficiency, and uptime while handling PLC/HMI programming and FAT
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education plus related work experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider 2 years as a controls engineer.
- Experience in Allen-Bradley PLC environments and integration of automation systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and modify machine control programs.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and program electrical and control systems on production equipment up to 480V.
- Lead or support manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.
- Prepare technical reports and FAT testing documentation.
- Collaborate across departments to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and OHSA requirements.
