Confident Search Consultants is seeking a Controls Engineer for a southwest suburban Atlanta facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integration of equipment and automation systems within an Allen-Bradley PLC environment.

It requires electrical troubleshooting, PLC/HMI programming, and leadership of manufacturing projects from initiation through completion, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and uptime. Relocation assistance is available along with major company benefits.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
• Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.

Responsabilités

• Maintain effective working relationships with related departments to support operations and continuous improvement.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on equipment from 24V to 480V and diagnose faults to restore operation.
• Support projects by providing controls engineering expertise: specification, design, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Lead projects, coordinating activities, timelines, and requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports and documentation for controls activities and FAT.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and internal EHS standards.
